Staying in Osaka or Kobe?

  • The tournament venue, Maishima Arena, is located in the City of Osaka.

  • The I.K.O.N. Honbu is located in the City of Kobe.

  • It takes about 30 min to 60 min to travel by train between the two cities.

  • While it's up to you to decide which city you will book a hotel to stay in, our recommendation is to stay in Osaka because it's closer to the tournament venue.

Three Airports

  • Kobe Airport (UKB) in Kobe

  • Osaka International Airport (ITM) in Osaka

  • Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka

Access from UKB to The City of Kobe
From UKB, you can use a train called the Port Liner to get to the Sannomiya station in Kobe. From UKB to the station, the fare is 340 yen and it takes about 20 minutes. Refer to the Port Liner map linked here.

Access from ITM to The City of Osaka
From ITM, there is an airport bus to take you to the station. The fare is 1070 Yen and it takes about 40 minutes. Click here for the ITM bus schedule.

Access from KIX to The City of Osaka

From KIX, there is an airport bus to take you to the station in Kobe. The fare is 2000 Yen and it takes about 90 minutes. Click here for the KIX bus schedule.

Hotels

Kobe and Osaka are some of the most popular travel destinations in Japan and the cities have a lot of hotels and accommodation options. However, do not wait until the last moment to reserve your hotel. Japan's post-Covid tourism is rapidly coming back and good hotels are being taken quickly.
