The Shanghai branch, led by Branch Chief Chen Chunkang, held the "1st I.K.O.N. CHINA Tournament" to make a new history in Chinese Kyokushin Karate.
The tournament was named "China KING OF KYOKUSHIN CUP 2024" and was held with the aim of developing and strengthening Kyokushin Karate in China.
This tournament brought together carefully selected athletes from over 30 Kyokushin organizations and served as a place to compete in karate techniques and mental strength. Athletes from the Taiwan branch also participated, enhancing the tournament.
Branch Chief Chen used his many years of experience to set up appropriate classes for each category, from juniors to seniors, men to women, and proceeded with the tournament with meticulous management.
The highlight of the tournament was the fierce battles of the athletes, especially the matches under full-contact rules, which required physical strength and technique, captivating the audience with the serious gazes and powerful offense and defense.
