I.K.O.N. was invited by IBK in Hungary!

Shihan Tats Nakamura, Director of the International Department, was recently honored to be invited by the International Budo Kai (IBK) to the 2025 IBK World Cup in Budapest, Hungary. Overseen by Kancho Gerard Gordeau and hosted by Shihan Pál Németh and his Seken Dojo team, this global event brought together hundreds of Karate-ka from over 40 countries, each demonstrating their utmost spirit and skill.

Over the past seven years, the friendship and cooperation between IBK and I.K.O.N. have grown stronger, founded on mutual respect, shared values, and the spirit of Budo. Their most recent collaboration included the participation of the Hungarian team led by Shihan Pál in last year’s World Tournament, where his disciple, Sempai Norina Csordas, achieved the runner-up position.

On behalf of I.K.O.N., Shihan Tats expressed during the opening ceremony his deepest gratitude for IBK’s continued support and extended heartfelt congratulations on the success of this historic event, wishing for the IBK–I.K.O.N. relationship to continue flourishing.
