Sosui's 73rd Birthday!

As I celebrate my 73rd birthday, I am truly grateful for the warm congratulatory messages, words, and heartfelt feelings I have received from people all over Japan and the world.

The reason I can continue to practice karate today is thanks to all the branch leaders, Shihans , related parties, and officials who work tirelessly both domestically and internationally, as well as their families and dojo students.

Moreover, the presence of many individuals who aspire to genuine Kyokushin karate and earnestly engage in training and teaching has been a great source of support for me.

Moving forward, I will continue to strive, work hard, and learn in order to be of service to everyone.

Thank you once again for your thoughtful messages.

At this moment, I would like to express my deep concern for the suffering of children, the elderly, and their families due to the ongoing wars and conflicts around the world, especially in Russia, Ukraine, and Palestine.

I sincerely hope for the swift resolution of these wars and conflicts, and the return of peace.

May everyone, especially those in Japan and around the world, live with hope and positivity.

I wish for true world peace to arrive as soon as possible.
